October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to honor survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and support those still fighting. Every year, more than 316,000 women and 2,800 men in the United States are diagnosed, reminding us that awareness and early detection save lives. As we wear pink and show our support, let us also remember to take care of ourselves through regular checkups, healthy living, and prayer. Bishop Lamar Ricks and Lady Yalanda Ricks encourage everyone to stand in faith, hope, and unity for healing and strength. Together, we believe that through God’s power and love, victory over cancer is possible.
